Reinforcements not only come after you've beaten the leader, but they move on the same turn? Lol. And hard mode was just getting to be so fun!

Reinforcements have never come on the turn after beating a boss for me. Which chapters are you talking about?

Honestly, I think playing on casual mode is justified just because of the ****ing random same-turn reinforcements

Replaying a whole chapter because you got hit by a 5% crit or a randomly popping up reinforcement doesn't make you hardcore.

Chapter 24. Past like turn 3, reinforcements came every single turn, even after the boss died. I had to split up all my paired up units and hope to do enough damage with Counterattack + next turn and place one partner on one fort while the other moved for another one.

(I admit I didn't take the max number of units; got bored of babysitting duty. Lost a few of my better ones and....)

Random? Reinforcements aren't random at all. From forts, they're exhaustible, meaning you can always beat them if you don't let your guard down. From off-screen, there's always a warning several turns before, giving you time to adjust your position accordingly.

Forts in the middle of enemy forces have always been bad news, and I don't recall the game ever claiming reinforcements couldn't arrive if the boss was dead...

There's always hope for better things in life. But you can't let anything, friend, lover, God himself, be your hope. You have to be your own hope.

Chapter 7. The boss bumrushed me, so I killed him with ease, then the next turn, 3 wyvern riders spawn at the back of the map right next to Miriel.

So many units and unit variety yet I'm forced to use only a couple OP units because the others fit into a small niche that the game doesn't like. (Read: Anybody with low defense)

They tell you if a map has them, which is more than we had to go on in the past.

I honestly don't find it that big a deal, they almost always come from forts, around the boss, or the starting area.
