Just wondering if Kellam can make a decent assassin character. His personality seems to kinda fit it.. super quiet and no one notices him. The only thing is he seems to have low luck. Im not sure how that would factor in. His other stats seem decent enough though a higher skill would be nice

would any stats hurt me if i go that route? Is he decent going that route? If so any skills i should shoot for down other trees first?

*kellam sits behind a queen's throne as the king and queen step and sit*

*Kellam stabs through throne and the queens torso*

*king looks*

King: honey, i told you to use a better Tampon.

I promoted him to General and then second-sealed him back to Thief and promoted to Assassin in my first playthrough. Nothing quite like an Assassin that can tank!

Knight > Great Knight > Assassin

Tanky Assassin character with forged bow and Killing Edge with Luna and Lethality. This is probably one of my favorite characters to use.

Absolutely, Kellam would make an awesome if not viable assassin, His caps are in the same ballpark as Lon'qu and +Speed/-Luck MU and they make awesome assassins as well.

As for skills, I can't really pinpoint which 5 should be used so the best I can offer are Suggestions.

Since Sins have fairly decent Speed and Skill caps you might want to pick up Luna from Kellam's Great Knight Tree or Pavise from General *or Both, I see no reason not to*, Movement +1 from his Thief Tree, Pass or Acrobat from the Sin & Trickster Trees respectively, Renewal from his War Cleric/Priest tree can never a build IMO, and that's about it

OK that made me laugh =)

Its sounding like this is quite viable. I was actually thinking of trying to go straight to assassin as soon as possible, but im hearing i should go to either great knight or general, then go BACK to thieft then assassin right?

Im not sure how the promotion/second seal stuff works. I think if you go back toa base class it resets your total level count or something

*edit* oh someone mentioned trickerst maybe for skills.. wouldn't he make a crappy trickster with his low magic skill? Im not even really sure what the trickster is supposed to be

It resets your level, but not your level count. The game keeps track of that.

If this Kellam guy was actually in the game, which he is obviously not, I would recommend general first for Pavise and then reclass to what you want though if you plan on trickster or assassin go back down to theif as everyone likes to have locktouch in reserve that can
