That it's... hard, from the looks of it.

Hard is only hard for like the first 4 chapters. Lunatic is actually hard.as hell at least on classic.

Iono, looked more to me like TC was blaming it on the RNG.

The truth I learned is the amazing gulf between easy and hard mode. At least in the first few chapters. It's seems they're following the Radiant Dawn formula, put the most painful part in the beginning.

It becomes far less painful once the Wireless/DLC content becomes accessible. You still have to be careful though. Most of your units by that point still won't be able to double hit and will get overwhelmed faced with more than one enemy.

Lunatic is so fuggin' grueling each chapter so far (I think I'm at 8?) but it's gotten a bit easier because nearly all my units' speed is respectable now and they don't ALWAYS have to be paired up to ensure they keep their lives for another turn… right now I'm fretting because I don't have another male unit available to have a child with Tharja (because if I'm going to use an archer at all, you bet your bottom she'll be female) and I'm not sure what to do about it. I typically use a majority of female units in my teams because I'm a sexist girl and want all my units to be strong independent women, but the marriage system is so awesome that it forces me to use males too..

Anyway, I played Normal mode and then went to Lunatic. What a difference. You basically can't play Lunatic in the beginning without Frederick, but I hope once I get Sully promoted that she'll be able to do his job for him, though the rest of my party should be less frail by then too!

Even though they end up marrying, I paired Lissa up with Frederick so she acted as a stat booster. Early game shes really kind of annoying, heal but if any enemy is in movement distance...she dead!!
Primum_MobilePosted 2/25/2013 5:23:02 AM
does TC mean "hard" or "lunatic"? I mean, there's no difficulty called "easy", the easiest difficulty is called "normal". So should we assume he means "lunatic"? But then again, why would TC skip hard and jump to lunatic, hm....
