Crunching flaws?

I'm going with Magic as an asset for my Avatar.

But I'm having trouble with flaw. The ones i'm looking into are HP and RES.

RES and MAG almost cancel each other out. which seems to be missing the point of the whole asset flaw thing.

But HP i'm worried may make my avatar to easy to kill. I've heard something about it not lowering the HP cap like other flaws but that still doesn't change that it hits every defensive stat except speed.

It's what I did. Who needs luck anyways? And if you do need it, your luck cap is still pretty high in the end if you grind. 44 I believe. I believe this combo also gets you -1 str. But that's nothing.

Mag/Res is great. I chose that for my first run and was pretty satisfied.

Mag/Luck leaves you with a 42 luck cap.

Str -1 Mag +3 Lck -3 Spd +2 Res +2

Which is why I brought up HP. Can anyone confirm that it doesn't effect the cap of that stat?

Because RES would cancel leaving DEF as my only flaw.

HP caps at 80 regardless of flaw.

I don't want to poison any offensive stats. Which is why HP and RES are the flaws I was comparing.

Does only the primary modifier on a flaw effect a cap?

Add your asset. Subtract your flaw. Those are your caps.
