Second/Master Seals in harder difficulties

I want to start a higher difficulty but my only HUGE concern are seals. In normal it's so hard to get second seals early in the game. I'm trying to get all the skills I want on my units and I can't so I have to keep leveling them up which will make it harder for them to level up later on since they have the whole 'hidden level'. How do you get seals in the harder difficulties? Do you just have to wait until they sell them in the shops later on? :/ That would be a bummer.

I get them from Rift Doors. If the merchant has no seal, I reset and play another map and try the Rift Door again.
Not an ideal method.

Aren't Rift Doors just as rare as seals early on in the game? lol
Though I did notice that in Hard you get more items

Rarer, given that you NEVER get handed a Rift Door normally.

Exactly, how do you guys do it?.. If you're playing Hard/Lunatic
Luck from merchants? lol
I assume you need those promoted skills for Lunatic and such.

Keep playing the first DLC map and visiting the villages.

patience

If you want a seal before going any further just put the 3DS in sleep mode for a couple hours

chances are a merchant will be selling them

you can get two second seals early (one in ch8 and one from renown). master seals are a bit of a problem but you start getting them in bulk in ch8-12 (when you can buy them).

just finishing the story, you certainly don't need more than you can naturally get (meaning, you don't need to Anna abuse). and if you're using the DLC anyway, grinding out levels later when the Seals become purchasable is not a problem -- you're talking a minor difference between internal levels.

if you're not using the DLC, it will mean some tough decisions but real bottleneck is Master Seals then, which are purchasable much earlier.

Yeah, it's not ideal. Don't know any other method to get them before Chap 12 / Chap 16 barring the ones you get from story drops or Renown rewards.
