Also, how does Martha always end up being one of the first to reply to these new user posts? I can almost picture him sitting at home, quietly playing his copy of fire emblem with his web browser open to the forum here, waiting to speak poorly of it to all the unsuspecting newcomers. I almost feel bad for him, although it's his own fault he can't enjoy this game for what it is. Any game has it's shortcomings, Martha doesn't seem to accept that but regardless I've been having, and will continue to have, a great time playing this game :) Welcome to the family TC, maybe we'll see you in a streetpass! |

Having a "shortcoming" is one thing. Example: Mega Man 5's charge shot is pretty damn overpowered.
Contradicting the entire purpose of your genre is another thing, and entirely unacceptable. Sorry but I don't quite understand how Awakening is contradicting the entire purpose of it's genre? Are your qualms the same as what Endgame talks about in his review? |

There is no strategy. Fire Emblem is a Strategy RPG series. Without Strategy, it's contradicting its genre. You're going to lose people at the "has no strategy" part, since there's plenty of strategy to be had. |
