Is this a stat-screwed Avatar?

This feels off. My two previous Avatars were much better. This one can barely take a hit. Peg. Knights give it trouble, for crying out loud.

This Avatar is also the first one to favor physical combat over magic since its MAG growth wasn't really good this time around. Thunder tomes hurt some enemies for only 8 dmg.

Think I might have to promote him earlier than everyone else just for the stat boosts.

Is this a screwed unit or were my previous Avatars just blessed?

You picked the wrong god to pray to.

Nothing a few extra second seals can't fix though. Plus we have the paragon skill and the avatar's veteran skill, leveling should be pretty fast, so not to worry.

But seriously, that is beyond unlucky.

I think I actually got 4 straight level-ups with only 1 or 2 stat gains.

You got RNG screwed. I'd promote and hope it gets better.

My Lv 6 or 7 MU beat this o_o and dominated comparing defense stats I messed with RNG though to get alot of good level ups.
