Stahl's kids have green hair. In the EXPonential growth DLC Stahl says that the risen think his head looks like a vegetable. I think it is pretty clear that his hair is magenta.
Why all this fighting?
Are you trolling or do you not know what magenta is? And even if his hair is green his kids certainty don't have green hair.
You could also easily argue that his hair simply resembles a vegetable. It seemed obvious to me the first time I saw that dialogue that it was she shape his hair holds and his perpetual cowlick that resemble a vegetable. Nothing of color was mentioned. I was trolling. I do know what magenta is. I was trying to pint out how silly this whole argument is. Everyone I've marries Stahl to has produced children with green/greenish hair. Furthermore I think he is saying that he has green vegetable like hair. It also fits with him being the green knight. After all, Sully is the red knight and has red hair. It would follow that Stahl, being the green knight, has green hair. |
Kagemusha_OulmnPosted 3/21/2013 11:02:38 AM (edited) | Well, looks like you've won, TC. Congratulations.
Forgive me if I sound a little less than sincere -- I do appreciate the fact that you've backed off on the anti-religious rhetoric. However, I feel obligated to mention that although you've managed to beat A) the inexperienced and B) the less articulate (jurlo's wallo'texts without proper capitalization apparently didn't attract many readers), the fact of the matter is that you are completely wrong, and you most likely know you are wrong. Hence the fact that you haven't attempted to offer a decent argument since the first few pages of posts (you've either spammed ad populum or made awful appeals to your own credibility).
I am fully aware that almost no one will read this post, as it is a few mouse-clicks further than anyone would consider worthwhile in a topic like this -- which is why I declared TC the victor. However, in case there is anyone still interested in the truth, here are some things to consider:
I recommended that the TC sample the greys in Stahl's armour, in hopes that he would admit of his own accord that he was oversimplifying the colour argument. Such would have required him to swallow a bit of his pride, but at least he would have been able to save face.
The darker shade of grey in Stahl's armour near his bucket-guard varies slightly, but the values typically range between 120-130 for RED, 96-106 for GREEN, and 99-109 for BLUE.
If we go further down the armor to wear Stahl's breastplate and undershirt meet, we can find darker greys -- but the dominance of RED does not change. Average values are around 77 for RED, 58 for GREEN, and 62 for BLUE.
As you can see, even colours clearly intended to be neutral are heavily skewed to RED, with a tiny bit of additional BLUE. This corroborates jurlo's assertion that the entire art is given a rose tint, which -- as I mentioned in an earlier post -- is often used to imbue vitality in character art.
If you were to make adjustments to remove the rose tint, GREEN would be visibly dominant in all shades of Stahl's hair colour. Hence, TC is wrong, and -- having access to all the tools I have at my disposal -- probably knows he is wrong. --- Series that desperately need another game: LoZ:FS, BoF, Chrono and MM:L (You were so close, my friend!) |
