Nope. They're act normal, since technically they're programmed as Avatars, except with Portraits and heads(or at least the best they could do) of characters of past games.

Recent StreetPass glitches have mentioned various SpotPass characters resulting in transforming your team into a random team instead of your own when it shows up on another 3DS. Has this been resolved, or have you actually tried sending your current StreetPass team to a friend's 3DS yet?

This happens when you aren't broadcasting a team or the other 3DS hasn't had a real chance to download your team.

It'll just generate a random team if you don't own the game or something.
