Looking to play some of the older FE games

#1nice_shotPosted 4/2/2013 8:06:36 AM
I've played Awakening, Shadow Dragon, Sacred Stones, Blazing Sword.

What older and easy to access FE games could I and should I still play? I've always wanted to play some of the older ones like Radiant series as I don't have a GC or a Wii.

:(

You can DL the Dolphin emulator (GC/Wii) and Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn ISOs, though it is considered piracy unless you own the actual titles like I do.

Aside from that, you can also easily find English-translation of Sword of Seals, which Blazing Sword was the prequel of.

Pretty sure it is considered piracy either way unless you've extracted it yourself... or something like that. In any case, people seem to really like 9 and 10, so I suppose it might be in your best interest to track them down.

SNES emu is pretty easy to set up if you want to try those

Mystery is pretty nice if you can stand some of the classic issues, one of them being the inability to skip cutscene at all(at least FE1 allowed you to hold a button)

Genealogy is pretty unique, so it might worth a try

Thracia is more closer to the GBA era, however it is one of the more challenging FE, especially if you play it blind

play "Fire Emblem Seisen no Keifu" on the SNES using an emulator.
as for "Thracia 776" i would save that for later if i were you.
as for the gamecube and wii FE games they are amazing but expensive.

Play Seisen no Keifu (FE4). It's really good.
