Are there any other ways to screw up in this game?

kids are underleveled and its a waste of time to use them for the main story.

You might not understand how the kids works.

Upon recruitment, the child unit's stats are determined by the stats of his or her parents. If you marry 2 high level parents, the child will be very powerful from the get-go.

The child can also start out with 2 Lv 15 promoted skills (one from each parent) which could make them phenomenally useful in a no-grind run if you plan properly.

LOL
Let everyone die but MU and Chrom.

Now that's how you really screw up.

I'm fairly confident that the CoD series can't get any worse than Black Ops. Unless, of course... Treyarch makes Black Ops 2... zombie95

that doesnt work out unless the parents are overleveled too, which they shouldnt be in an efficient run.

You could pair up all of Sumia's potential husbands to other ladies and render Cynthia nonexistent.

The only thing you can miss really is Boots.

Other than that, there is really no "bad" marriage. But, the correct way to say it is it's not "optimal" for DLC challenges. The game itself is very beatable with multiple strategies. But if you got to go for the DLC content, making a more presentable spread of "optimal" might be better.

Actually, there really are bad parents.

Gregor offers average caps and literally passes down not a single new class to Inigo.

Change chrom to an archer. Use all your gold, discard everything. Save game.
