Worth it to use Sorc just for that skill(to complete Vantage+Vengeance+Wrath combo)? Because I have things against Sorcs.

Or would Vantage+Wrath just enough?
OP tomes, high Res, and skills be damned; I won't use Sorcs.

Vengeance and Wrath make a pretty beastly combo, I think it's worth it.

Vengeance is what makes that combo so great, not wrath. Wrath is optional, vengeance is the reason you would do this in the first place. Also, if this is for streetpass, throw miracle on there.

Vengeance on a Sorcerer is great on its own.

Vengeance with Vantage and Wrath is just plain ridiculous.

For Vantage and Wrath to activate you have to have less than half HP, that's at least 20 extra damage with Vengeance, and Sorcerers can use Ruin.

You see, I have things against Sorcs... *points to sig*

But I heard there's an Axe which provides that skill, it's a bonus item from SpotPass IIRC.

This exactly. +20 Crit at half HP, with a BASE crit of 50? Combine with always going first when attacked, and a MINIMUM of +20 damage, possibly up to +42 if you decide to be a goofball and equip HP+5 and stay at 1 HP?

Say your opponent has 80 HP. Your base stats are high enough to do 30 damage. +20 suddenly takes that up to 50. That isn't a laughing matter.

If someone can get Veng/Wrath/Vantage, DO IT.

I was asking the wrong question.

Worth it to use Sorc, ONLY to get that skill?

You don't have to stick with sorcerer to keep the vengeance skill, you can just grind through the class then ignore it after you class change from it.

Anyhow from all the people praising vengeance here, yes, it's worth it to get the skill and get out as much as it is to get the skill and stay in class. No difference between the two.

Skill is far less effective on Non-Sorcs as they all suffer a much higher risk due to no healing. Sorcerers though don't need Vengeance to be amazing as they have other builds such as super tanky.
