Just a few months after the 80's ended, though. I imagine 80s art styles were still rampant in the very early 90s.

Yeah, early 90's art was basically trailing on from the late 80's.

imo 90's art and 80's American cartoon and anime art stayed pretty similar up to before 2000.

They should've done the FEA characters in that art style.
