Hi guys just started playing. im a male MU

I got to chapter 11 and i planned on chrom marrying sumia.

when looking into kids/skills does this mean i can't pass down right king because my second child will be cyntia? doesn't seem to work out, next playthrough i wont be pairing them together.

Yeah Cynthia gets Aether instead. Still a great skill, but not Rightful King. Chrom's child gets both skills, as they are also in the Lord class tree.

Female gets Aether from Chrom, Male gets RFK from Chrom
Chrom ALWAYS pass this skill no matter what

Chrom Male child are: morgan(MU), Inigo(Olivia), maribelle(Brady)
Chrom Female Child are: Lucina(default. Can get RFK on her own), Cynthia(Sumia), Kjelle(Sully)

As for Chrom X Sumia, Cynthia is the best Female Support Unit in the game, and Chrom!Cynthia is the more physically inclined best support unit in the game, so enjoy that

You'll pass down Aether to Cynthia.

Aether goes to daughters, Rightful King goes to sons.
Although something will happen around Ch.13 so stop snooping online if you don't want the story spoiled!

Chrom x Sumia is still optimal.

It's already been said in this topic that Chrom!Cynthia is extremely optimal as a physical unit but she still makes an even better Dark Flier if you're into that. Chrom!Cynthia is still my favorite Cynthia after months of analyzing and comparing optimal pairings lists.

If you are really that interested in Rightful King then you should be aware that Sumia!Lucina makes the best use of Rightful King in the game by far.

Sumia!Lucina
[Limit Breaker]
Rightful King
Aegis
Pavise
Aether

Technically MU!Lucina can make for the same build, but you shouldn't do Chrom x MU if you want to use this build as you can do Chrom x Sumia which makes for a more optimal list of pairings overall.
The only real reason beyond story significance to choose MU!Lucina is for Armsthrift on Lucina anyway and it could be argued that Lucina is a poor candidate for said skill.

Considering the opinion of many Min Maxers here(particularly influenced by Endgame's post in worst character in the game topic), I doubt many players remembered that Lucy essentially have a Pseudo Armthrift, so she does not really need Armthrift

I loved to use that Pseudo Armthrift for MU, but thats something.

That's right. Lucina has access to the Great Lord class, so she can learn Rightful King on her own, but Cynthia cannot.

Pseudo Armsthrift? What are you talking about?

Hint: Something that only Chrom have, no matter what

Pretty damn sure nobody actually think of abusing the hell out of that

Pseudo Armsthrift? What are you talking about?

Falchion(s) = infinite use sword with x3 damage to dragons.
100% Armsthrift effect = infinite use of weapons.

Chrom, Lucina and technically the logbook Marths all have access to these weapons, thus they have a natural form of pseudo-Armsthrift.
