Are you boycotting the Harvest DLC pack cause of this fiasco?

I could give a long rant but ill just let it out gradually throughout the topic. Also had I known of the censorship I would of not bought it in the first place (;-_-)

People making a fuss because they can't see some pixelated bikini. This is just so sad

The main issue here is the censorship, not the bikini fanservice. Its insulting that NoA changed the original, intended version of the game. But the minority worried about butts match your comment. Fanboyism is the saddest thing stemmed from video games.

You must be new. It is a fact that censorship happens whether it is video games, anime, TV shows, movies or whatever.. Deal with it. You'll live longer if you don't worry about the small stuff.

Ohmy, one image was censored and that riled up the neckbeards, didn't it?

Poor TC. But really, how much more neckbeard could you possibly be, this is horribly sad.

Get outside more if not being able to see a butt or 'how it was originally intended' minus one butt shot is making you regret/boycott.

I was already not getting it, but if I had planned on it I wouldn't be boycotting it just because one scene censors a butt...

Technically, the "original, intended version of the game" would be the base game without the DLC, which is unchanged. Even in the context of the DLC, though, the picture is only tangential to the intended purpose of the DLC, which are the conversations and event tile abuse (the fact that some people bought the DLC without even knowing the pictures were included is evidence enough of this). Complaining that one picture, which has no effect on the gameplay or story, has been altered seems pretty petty, and calling for a boycott incredibly so.

Its not so old in the j(s)rpg industry. I understand the censorship in anime etc because of it being aired on television and america has a lot stricter standards for viewing children due to america's religious origin. Anywho, its one of the reasons why a lot of people watch anime's subbed.

This isn't so common in jrpg games. Take games like persona(except for satan's nipple removal on its 8 bewbs lol) with all of its nudity, bloody dungeons, many sexual comments and stuff. Most jrpg's generally aren't even bad to begin with compared to anime/tv shows. So there isnt a viable comparison between them.

So the morale of the story: religion is the root of all evil.

Don't you think there's a reason why a movie on TV is censored but when you buy it on DVD its all there. Think about it.

The TV version is censored because there are laws in place regarding what can be shown on public television. DVDs are not public television and therefore not influenced by those laws.

Please take a moment to educate yourself before getting up in arms about your borderline-porn anime DLC.

One picture gets censored and everyone regrets their purchase, ignoring the funny conversations, other uncensored pictures, sparkling tiles for items, etc.

Ok...

Just let it go. Let the children have their fun thinking that they're doing something important.

You're fighting for a just cause, guys! 'Merica!

I think boycotting it is stupid and all that, but seriously? borderline porn? that's going way overboard.
