Is this Fire Emblem really the best of the bunch?

Because I've played the demo and for some reason just like it a lot more than any of the other FE games I tried.

Also the new artstyle looks pretty nice. I was gonna grab this in lieu of Advance Wars and was curious about the consensus on it.

It's probably the best if you get a kick out of seeing bigger numbers.

So what's the deal with this game and/or which FE is the best iyo? What's this "bigger numbers" stuff, as in sales or stats/damage?

Well... That's up to opinion.

Personally, I preferred some of the others but it's still a good game. It just depends on what you value in the series.

I just value an SRPG like Advance Wars, which the 3DS likely won't see for a while given how well this game sold in comparison to the last Advance Wars.

Depends what you mean. Game market wise it is, because it offers features that increase the longevity of the game. . . By a loooooooot. The graphics and portraits are amazing for what this lil thing can handle. The changing faces are relatively new, and the marriage + child system gives metagamers something to go crazy over. Lastly, the customizable avatar is a very rare thing in the Fire Emblem series, so it feels awesome to have a very varied unit.

I thought the storyline was about a 5/10, but the relationship factors between characters was most certainly a 10/10. Dialogue within the story itself is pretty good, and in general it's entertaining. This is the first Fire Emblem that was set up to get many laughs. Something that we don't really get to see in these games since it was always a very serious SRPG.

In the end, I would say it all boils down to opinion. Though thanks to the dialogue and features, I really think this game will help broaden the FE gaming population.

776 is a better FE in general

Not to mention the story being totally **** after a certain points

And for big numbers, this game does not even beat FE1 on this regards

Are "big numbers" in reference to total sales? You keep throwing the term around and you haven't clarified on it.

Which is 776? Is it for GBA or SNES? I remember hearing of it but forget the console. Either way I'm sure all other FE games but this most recent one have reached pretty high prices by now.
