I might be able to understand what they were saying if I could actually hear it well enough. The words themselves are like impossible to actually hear clearly.

I took 3 years of latin, and all I remember is sum, es, est, summus, estis, sunt which is "to be". I blame the teacher.
However, just from listening I'm fairly certain its not latin, but I'm no expert.

Could the "sum" you mentioned be part of the

maybe? I'm having difficulty splicing that part into understandable Latin.
