Problem?

For FFXVI, I want an FFIX all over again. Not FF9 per se, but FF9 was the one-time return to the classic FF and medieval setting. No mix of sci-fi and medieval.

plz squer.

Did I miss somebody mentioning the Dragon Quest series for grindy RPGs?

I agree. Certain DQ games can get pretty hard if you don't grind.

It takes strategy for a beginner who doesn't know they should grind or that galeforce exists, aka me in my first run
seriously i was having non addictive fun with this game until i got here and saw what i "should be doing"

No matter how hard I tried to avoid it, I always, always, always, had to grind whenever I hit the "for pigs the bell tolls" or something of the like in paper Mario:thousand year door. The game hit a much higher difficulty curve at that point I suppose.

That's really just you there.
Neither of the actual Paper Mario games (Sticker Star and Super are not. They're shoddy knock offs.) require grinding. Knowing how to use Badges (*coughMultibouncecough*) and Items (*coughStoneCapinthefirstgamecough*) gets you places in those games.
Brought to you in part by noise. For when you want to hear things, but dont want to be bothered with knowing what it is you are hearing.
