Why do people hate lethality?

Needing to carry Sturdy on every team is a sign that it's overpowered. There's also a chance that the Pokemon with Sturdy could be dead--for example, you could use Magnezone to kill Skarmory and Forretress, and then have an OHKO sweeper do its thing.

Also, how did you guys get 42% for Chrom!Inigo!Morgan?

He has 65 skill as an Assassin, so that's a good point to start.

Bonuses:

All stats+2: 2
Skill+2: 2
Defender: 1
Pair Up: 8
Tonic: 2
Rally Skill: 4
Rally Spectrum: 4
Rally Heart: 2

Just enough skills to give space for Lethality and Rightful King.

Total bonus: 25

So Morgan has 90 skill, which means that his Lethality chance is 22%. Adding Rightful King to that is 32%.

The chance of it activating once with two attacks is 54%.

In Streetpass, with no pair up, that's 51%.

C!I!M is typically higher than the others. Still a Hypothetical activation rate though, not a hard one.

No, I was asking how you got 42% when I got 51% for Streetpass and 54% otherwise.

Won't have Rallies.
Won't get any more Activation off All+2, unless SKL+2 is also used.
Won't have Tonics.

C!I!M Lethality Activation rate: 45.24%

Assassin is also a kinda meh class for Lethality Rush due to lack of 1-2.
C!I!M's best is probably Sage, which only loses 1% on the Lethality for a gain of a Range 1-2 option, and higher RES (which is the Defensive stat that matters, not that defense stats matter unless you have a ****ton).

42% is typically Lucina or Inigo.

It would be rare for that, I think, since the enemy would only use Rallies when they can't do anything else, but otherwise they would be attacking your units instead.

AI rarely if ever uses tonics, and sucks with Rallies.
(Basically, Rallies only work on the defense for AI. To get a Rally bot to work, it's got to be unable to attack, but cannot be unarmed. In a Lethality rush, it's horribly inefficient-- you'd lose another set of swings (Which no matter what you've done, you only get 2. Expect to be doubled no matter what. (YES, I DO MEAN LQ!YARNE!MORGAN, SM. WITH BALMUNG. DOUBLED.) for 2% at best Hard activation. (In the case of C!I!M Sage (Assassin, read as 0, because no one is going to fight a unit with a Deadzone straight up like that), that'd be 46.71% vs. 43.75%, which really doesn't make up for the loss in another unit)

Runs away.
Basically, the AI will have a non-healer unit flee from the player to the best of its abilities as long as it has combat-capable allies remaining.

You can have a Staff/Rally bot, but it's not really effective.
