Can't find the right spot for a sidequest... (SPOILERS)

I'm at the end of chapter 5, and just finished the vampire castle, but there's still one annoying sidequest mark on the world map.

It's at the place where you fight Victor and Victoria, and I think it's something to do with the Paladin job master "Brave" (since I haven't fought him yet), but I've explored the entire building both at day and at night and there's no sidequest mark in there at all.

Does anyone know what I'm missing?

I'm gonna feel bad if this is wrong since it's been months.

I'm pretty certain you trigger a scene with Brave and Anazel in Edea's room at the Eternia castle, which then you either do the fight there or at the very top. Might just be Anazel alone, though. If you've done Yulyana's subquest, I'd imagine you probably are already recovering Ringabell's memories. At that point, I definitely remember a scene in Edea's room.

Hope that helps, all it takes is a few months for me to forget a few details. Once again, my apologies if it's wrong.

No scene in Edea's room at this point, but you did point me in the right direction, and I found what I was looking for, so thanks for that. It turned out that I'd overlooked the elevator and I'd only been checking the lower floors.

Huh, must be a later cycle then. My memory's a little fuzzy for the cycles, I'll admit.

But at least it got you somewhere, so that's something. :'D

Yeah damn cycles. Game designers have to think of a better way to increase the lifespan of their titles.

Brilliant minigames don't hurt. An arena is another classic way to add a few hours (The one from Star Ocean 2 captivated me for 20 hours, the survival mode was so intense.)

Have to agree on that. After the first or second cycle, not much is changed beyond the Anazel/Brave and Venus Sisters boss change ups, or so I recall.

The first 2 cycles was alright, but after that, it was literally painful. The whole format works for Stein Gates, but for a RPG, it was annoying.

If I remember correctly, the worst cycle-centric plot I've ever seen was Harumi Suzumiya's second season.

Something like 7 episodes doing the same thing over and over again. I thought I was going crazy week after week. I even considering sending a bomb to the studio.

It worked out for Steins;Gate, but I recall they at least had different methods leading to the same result and enough drama behind it to keep it interesting.

Never watched Suzumiya, the series never caught my attention.

I actually liked the Suzumiya until they started the Endless 8 arc. It piss me off to a point, that I wanted to forget the whole series. And when I lend the series to a friend, I only gave him the first season and the movie, so he wouldn't end up hating the series like I did.
