I don't understand the Zanmato hate.

So what if it is the "easy way out?" How does how someone chooses to enjoy their single-player game affect you in the slightest? Please, enlighten me as to your thought processes, because I genuinely do not understand why you people have to be so uppity about insisting that others play the game how you think it should be played.

Vidya games are srs bsns

Edit: It's also probably annoying when people who want to fight the non-Zanmato way keep getting barraged with "Zanmato, scrub."

I'd say because it revolves around FFX being extremely basic and easy, once you get to Calm Lands you can grind out Wakka and one shot all the bosses to end the story with Attack Reels, not even having break damage.
This game is all about the grind of end game.

And that grind becomes null and void, with, you guessed it, Zanmato.

So yes, everyone has the right to play a game how they want, it is single player, but, what's the point?

If you're trophy hunting you have to grind out the Sphere Grid anyway, so why not make the attempt?

Should have stopped here honestly.

"What's the point" works both ways, you know.

Just makes the game too easy. Same with Attack Reels, I decided this time around not to use either. Dark Aeons and Nemesis were still simple.

Nice moves to have, but just because you have it doesn't mean it is required.

It's really nobodies business. If they hate because of it so what. That's their problem not yours. I used it to farm certain bosses because I'm not going to farm for specific armors by killing them the long way every single time.if I've killed it once the traditional way will then that's more than enough for me. It's not the first ff with it either. I remember people using Odin in a similar manner. Even getting him late so he doesn't change into gilgamesh.

You're absolutely right, What's the point of not using Zanmato?

Enjoying endgame, challenging myself, seeing if I'm capable.

What's the point of Zanmatoing everything?

I don't need your answer, because the only logical one would be "I don't have enough time."

I understand though, everyone as their play style preference.

Did you rule out Quick Attack aswell? Would make Dark Aeons and Nemesis more Challenging too oh and no Mix either
