Seperate trophies from the ps3 version?

I beat all 3 of the games on the ps3 hd collection and I'm wondering if there is a separate trophy list for the Vita version. In other words, if they are the same exact trophies will they already be unlocked when booting up the Vita version or can you have 2 of the same trophy?

New trophy list for Vita. But... From what I understand, you can start a Vita game, 'transfarr' to the PS3, and earn your Vita trophies on your home console. Take that with a grain of salt though, as I'm going to be playing the Vita version on the Vita and I'm not really interested in testing it all out myself. Honestly, this sounds like a programming nightmare though (in my incredibly uneducated opinion, in regards to programming).

But, I had previously plat'd MGS3 (PS3), and when I fired up Vita 3, loaded it and synced with the servers, my Vita trophies are still at 0%. So... do it all again!

Good to hear. I want to earn all the trophies again in the portable version instead of just transferring them over. ........... My nose had been out in the cold for too long.

BROTHER! Yeah, I also was excited about getting the trophies again, good golly I love Metal... Gear? too much. I would sell my firstborn into slavery for a Vita version of MGS4...
