so... 2 platinums?

is that standard for all collection games? or is this a special case?

i have been eyeing this collection for a while, waiting to strike.

That's standard for collection games.
The PS3 version gets 3 platinums and most other HD collections get 3 platinums as well.

pretty cool, now im really hoping for ratchet and clank collection, jak and daxter collection, and my favorite of the bunch, (which i think is confirmed already) zone of the enders collection.
it would also be nice to see a dmc collection, since the reboot kinda offed off the original series.

Also, keep in mind if you have the PS3 version, the trophy lists are seperate. So you can get up to 5 MGS related platinums...soon to be 6!

The MGS2 plat is considered one of the hardest out there though, so good luck!

On the Ps3 you can already get: DMC HD (1,2 &3), Jak & Daxter HD

Confirmed for PS3: Ratchet & Clank HD, ZoE HD (coming with MGS: Revengence Demo)

Confirmed for Vita: ZoE HD

And it's the only MGS plat I have lol I didn't find it that bad, I'd say Peace Walker is probably harder/more time consuming.
Maybe I'll go back to Peace Walker to finish off that plat once I'm done with MGS3

And yeah DMC already has a HD Collection for PS3. No plans to release a digital version on PSN though (according to Andy from the EU PS Blog)
Was a lot of fun getting those 3 plats though... well maybe not the DMC2 "Over 9000" trophy but the rest was fun xD
If they released the collection again on Vita... would be a day one buy for me... again.

Also, TC. If you have both the PS3 and Vita versions of the HD collection, you can get 2 platinums for playing through once by Transfarring (but you need to be connected to the internet for the initial save to be able to Transfar trophies so keep this in mind if you get the Vita version then plan to get it on PS3)

So when you get the platinum for MGS2, you can transfar your data and get the platinum again on the other system. You need to save AFTER doing each trophy though to Transfar it.

It will be the same story with Zone of the Enders since that will also come with Transfarring.

Ps3 also has two god of war collections, a splinter cell collection (which I need to get at some point), the Ico/shadow of the colossaus collection and a sly copper collection.

Anodyne, if I start my first save when logged in to PSN, then play alot while on the road, I should be ok, right?

also, can a european MGS Collection Vita transfar to an american MGS collection PS3?

yeah u shud be ok with the same cause i did the same, only connected to psn the first time b4 i transfer the save, but im not too sure on the europe/us versions though...

Yeah you can do that. I only went online for the first save and played the rest entirely offline and had no problems with it on the Vita.

And as far as I know, you need to have 2 matching region copies.
I remember someone having problems Transfarring when they had a UK and a US copy to Transfar between. Always said the saves were corrupt.
