I'm not talking about the HUGE animals at the base of the hill that appear sometimes, I'm talking about a player's animal that is larger than normal. How does one get their animal to be large? --- 3DS FC: 4554-1390-1552 HM: ANB name: Illior

Feed the correct number of treats 4 times to increase the productivity. You have to feed each set of treats to go from 1 to 2, again from 2 to 3, again from 3 to 4, and yet again from 4 to 5. However, to get from 4 to 5 you must ALSO have 9 hearts with the animal, and the animal must have spent 1,000 hours outdoors total.

Game clock. If you rely on pets to do your herding then your animals will be outside 10 hours a day in sun or snow, which means as least a 100 days. Really with as much rain as you get in fall it's best to estimate that the animal needs a year or so to get the grazing amount. --- 3ds: 3050-8423-0484

That would be an amazing feat if it were real time hours, considering the only gave I have ever spent 1k hours on is Monster Hunter Tri. --- PSN: OniNoMeKyo, 3DS FC: 0473-9038-8324 Waiting for: Fire Emblem Awakening, Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory

XD yeah, I would cry and give up if it was real time. I've only spent that time on monster hunter games too, along with Disgaea. --- 3DS FC: 2191-8040-0164 HM name: Tuna Farm name: Flow
