you cant have a movie with 3 villians none of them developing right and then one finds the other on the street... hit him, and says... "we all hate the spider..... lets work together"

(sorry about my bad english)

Doesn't that happen in the xmen movies?? Doesn't Magneto find random mutants to join his fight, same for xavier too.

Also I want to comment on the whole emo thing, Peter was NOT EMO, he became a great dancer, arrogant, and ruthless man...I'm starting to think some of you were watching the wrong Spiderman movie. And the black suit from Spiderman 3 is the best IMO, much better than the Ultimate suit that is just black slime covering Parker. Although I would like to see the Amazing Black suit once Amazing 2 is made.

I will agree with those that say the 3 Villians weren't discussed enough in the film, I was disappointed that they didn't receive enough screen time, they really tried to squeeze them all in a single film. I wish they removed Sandman so that Venom and Goblin could had had more play. In addition I would had liked to see the black suit get more use than just the Sandman scene.

Don't know what you are talking about, that's commonplace in comics.

Bond suffered too, the first two films were kinda serious, but then Goldfinger??? a dude who wants to melt gold out of fort knox and sprypaints women gold to kill em??? and a fat oriental dude who throws a hat ??? the fourth one wasnt much better and just got more comic bookey with a jetpack sequence.

The first two had planty of camp in them. An Goldfinger wanting to nuke the gold in Fort Knox is infinitly better than trying to steal it all, like in the book. If a spy movie isn't entirely based in reality, than why are you watching?

So everywhere I hear everybody says that spiderman 3 was a terrible movie. But no one ever says why, what are the universally accepted bad things about it? I personally loved all 3 movies, the 3rd being my favorite.

After 5 years of saying why, it becomes universally accepted.

Because they at least don't say sorry to the hero afterwards.

Cmon guys, peter was emo for only 20 min, plus I thought those scenes were hilarious.

and also considering the fact that we was NEVER EMO....seriously...do you people even know what emo means......wowwwww he acted really cocky and an ....a-hole wow....so emo lmao.....dressed in black...wow...so emo

The point is, its not how he was portrayed in the original source material. The scenes are not supposed to be hilarious. The whole concept of the Symbiot is to take it literally and metaphorically in a dark direction. Yes...Peter becomes more confident..check...yes he becomes a bit of a a-hole...check...no..he did not look an idiot while doing so...it came off very badly in my opinion.

They tried to do what people expected, but due to bad writing or cutting..I don't know how or why...it just didn't come off right, it came off more silly than anything.

Furthermore the faults with the movie don't end with Peter, there was a lot of criticism of Venom as a character, given that he didn't look as Venom should, Venom is an extremely physically imposing character. Granted while having him look huge would look odd, he looked too small to be any kind of danger. Here's a drwaing of Spider-man and Venom in their most recognised looks: http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs28/f/2008/059/0/b/VENOM_vs_SPIDER_MAN_josh_color_by_spiderguile.jpg

Whereas in the movie Venom looked very small, almost a similar build to Spider-Man himself, which instantly puts people off.

I don't mind Spider-man 3...I usually do look past a movies faults and see what is good about it...its not a great film, but its a fun film to watch.

That being said I have just seen The Amazing Spider-man...and it was exactly that, Amazing. I hope they go for different characters before introducing Venom at a later time.

This. I want them to take their time before they go ahead with venom. And I'd like venom to be the one and only villain in the movie. Perhaps ending with Brock getting locked up with a certain psychopath. Youuu knooooow.
