Anyway, I am in the process of getting rid of ALL weapons and using that to buy planks and dice. My cannons I keep. top rated 3 are +150, +130 and +200
compared to highest weapon of +100? eh. dump em all I say.. The only weapons I like are the gem ones.

I'm a data geek, so I made a spreadsheet to model my current and hypothetical ship's item allotments. It turns out that if I sold off *all* of my weapons & cannons, and equipped my crew with nothing but dice, planks, genoa sails and the gem items I can't get rid off... I'd still have 13% more attack points than defense!

I can't imagine a good reason for declining an invite but did so this morning in my 2shrly2 game. Darn fumble fingers. If the person who invited me is reading this, please send another invite. Thanks for the information, I will go back to buying Planks, although I have men w/ no attack weapons in Ship Tackle. I was doing the Sails because I had men empty handed so I was getting the full attack #'s for them and on Defense I'm only getting 100 points because they have Anchors already. So it was a bigger bang for my buck.

I also don't horde gold, I will buy what I can when I can, I can at least get 50% back instead of another pirate taking it or those stupid treasure chests. I'm over them too.

I won't open the locked chests anymore, they are a rip off. The unlocked ones will give you 3,000 gold but take 50,000, so frustrating.

I am still trying to enlarge my crew, the thing is I can't load that screen and if I do and get a name typed in there is says the servers are busy. I also have close to 150 names that haven't accepted the request, so if I do spend the time on getting an invite out there I want it to be someone I know is active. I also like the short names, less typing, less room for mistakes and maybe the system will take it :)

I gift daily and looks like I sometime can gift from the mass free gift area up to 3 x's a day.
