I'm starting to get excited for this game. I already planning out my 25 man roster for the A's lol. Gotta win a couple championships with this squad.

Have my roster planned out too. It goes like this: One ace pitcher, crappy lineup. So the Mariners, lol, Jk. I go with cards.

ill have 2 chises goin for players 28 years of age and under as i dont use the teams actual roster.ill trade players around from the main menu for who i want and then start the chise as the team of choise. i usually end up somewhere between 15-22 overall.

my main will be the NL - not sure if want to use nats or brewers (lighting in the ballpark is AMAZING..CANT STAND ALL THE DAMN BLUE UNIS) this year. used the marlns last year. its a nice change of pace from being a fan of a AL team (seattle) having to use your pitcher during at bats.

then ill have a AL chise that ill play when i get tired of playin as the NL squad. kinda switch back and forth when i grow tired of the other. leaning towards cleve or maybe kc (i miss the old 80s ball park though for kc).

other noteables - i use a 6 man rotation not 5. its a great way to give a pitcher a extra day rest and stay healthy. plus i use the pitcher in the 8spot and not 9th for batting.

well you can only have the actual 5 starters.
but for the 6th spot id use the main 2 LRPers id have in my pen as a 6th starter 9rotate them each start as well).

how it would look:

pitcher 1.
p2.
p3.
p4.
p5.
p6 (starting pitcher not in starting 5 rotation / LRP #1).
p1.
p2.
p3.
p4.
p5.
p6 ( SPNIS5R / LRP #2).
p1.
p2.
p3.
p4.
p5.
p6 (SPNIS5R / LRP #1).

like that.

Ahh, I prefer simming most of my games, so I wouldn't have the patience. Also, anyone excited for the new scouting system? The new system may finally mean that the Astros won't suck forever.

Eh, Astros will suck for some time, projected year (3 years from now) is fairly accurate, but they'll still be top ten draft pick positions until then. In all honesty, I expect a 90 loss season even with everyone healthy, even with a healthy DH player throughout the year. Its nice to have that one extra bat, but it'll take more than having an extra bat when your players are barely getting in scoring position...
