they didn't make one about china

The one part of history in china, for those who played dynasty warriors, was one of the bloodiest wars in history. I believe out of like 30 million people, after the war was over only like 6 million were left, or something like that. I think they give the number in wiki. But I'm surprised they never made one with china.

I have no idea about war u are talking about. There were many wars in China with more than 30 million deads but never heard of a war in China with 6 million survivors. Dynasty warriors is not a legit source of historical facts...

using that as an example. that game is base on the real war. So the real number was 50 mill down to 16 mill after the war.

I totally agree with you. I have been wanting to see one involving china for a very long time.
However I don't entirely agree with the time period you're suggesting. If you ask me it should be set in the 12th century since then you could not only include china but the whole of Asia east of Iraq. The 12th & 13th centuries were extremely savage in Asia as in Japan this is the period in which Shogun 2 Rise of the Samurai takes place so Japan is in a state of civil war, the Mongols invaded china and the Iranian and just those guys in general were also pestering each other as well as pestering the Chinese. If however they were to actually do this though they should make the armies even as opposed to giving one of the armies / types of armies clear dominance (in Rome it was Rome, fall of the samurai Jozai, M2 France or England, etc) as I don't think they should overpower the Mongols purely because they owned every else in real life. They were only dominant because of pure tactical genius, a role the player must play himself.

Also this large map scale will allow for a huge range of different pros and cons for each clan allowing for diversity (e.g. militaristicaly the japs could have great elite melee infantry, Chinese have large units and are all rounders with quality siege weapons and advanced formations, Mongols and Persians great cavalry, the Indians could have loads of specialist infantry like maybe even use poison users who would be like the hornet throwers in M2 but better)

A game like that could have huge amounts of potential

Also a game like that could o hand in hand with the next medieval as the time periods are basically the same

I'd love to see a World War I Total War, and a World War II Total War. I realize a lot of mechanics would have to be rewritten, but with naval power and bombardment in FoTS, it makes me really want to pull out the old Dreadnoughts!
