LandscapeManXPosted 7/21/2012 8:45:01 AM | TTT2 >>> DOA5 --- Official Great Toad Sage of this board. |
Solid SonicPosted 7/21/2012 8:47:07 AM | Well...yes.
I wouldn't have made a topic lamenting how TTT2 is poised to ascend to the top of the 3D fighting pantheon if it couldn't even beat DoA5. --- If it can't run well on PC, then it wasn't worth playing. I'm just saying what I know you're thinking. |
Drunken_SnakePosted 7/21/2012 9:18:49 AM | Not really, I'm more excited for VF guest chars than DOA itself. |
RagirothPosted 7/21/2012 9:38:18 AM | Gameplay wise Im always torn.
DOA feels more faster and fluid, but Tekken has more oomph and the characters feel a bit more varied. --- http://z8.invisionfree.com/Final_Chase_Zone/index.php? PSN-Ragiroth |
werewolfgoldPosted 7/21/2012 9:45:20 AM | Hmmmmm... I really want both. I must give props to DOA5 for trying to revamp a lot of things both visually and mechanic wise, though. And, I'm really digging the stage interaction. --- The full moon is beautiful, don't you think? Have you ever had the chance to look at it? |
Leekazama92Posted 7/21/2012 9:47:43 AM | TTT2...never liked DOA5...doesn't look too good to me anyways.
@SolidSonic You need to play more games. Or actually play UMVC3, its not bad at all. No reason to just drop out of the scene like that waiting for TTT2. T6 was dead on release since it was out in Arcades too long. |
WRRYYYYersPosted 7/21/2012 9:53:28 AM | I'll be honest, I'm excited for both. But I'll probably get more into DoA5 just because it's a lot easier to get into. I would like to get good at Tekken but we'll see how it plays out. --- Official Self-proclaimed [King of Tager] http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm289/_ORIONSTAR/Tagah.png |
Solid SonicPosted 7/21/2012 9:54:12 AM(edited) | I'm terrible at UMvC3. I had MvC3 for awhile before I got rid of it thinking I'd get UMvC3 at some point.
My mind doesn't process when to use assists as well as more devoted players. --- If it can't run well on PC, then it wasn't worth playing. I'm just saying what I know you're thinking. |
Farhan_MalikPosted 7/21/2012 10:18:51 AM | haven't played a DOA game since DOA2.
Sadly I don't really like the direction tekken series is going in terms of gameplauy mechanics. bound!, rage, item moves, breakable environments, insaNE BOSSES are all stupid moves on Harada's part and to top it of, there's garbage modes like devil within and scenario campaign instead of modes which were actually fun to play like Ball, Bowl and force.
I have no idea what itagaki has been doing with DOA's gameplay but i'm actually looking forward to play doa5 --- Fear the wrath of mod. |
Solid SonicPosted 7/21/2012 10:28:57 AM | Itagaki? That sucka's long gone.
His absence is why I think DoA is finally becoming something more. --- If it can't run well on PC, then it wasn't worth playing. I'm just saying what I know you're thinking. |
