You play extremely aggressive offensively, which is probably why you dont have the movements down, im the same way. Take a matches in player and work on sidestepping to punish and try to not be the aggressor the whole match. You just look lost/undecisive when stuck in defense i think like everything in this game just practice. Cant believe you consider yourself a noob though, you seem like you play well for a beginner (a lot better than me and a lot of people I see online). That third dimension is still new to me so I don't sidestep as much as I should. Since I'm always rushing down, I tend to get counter-hit often as well, which isn't good. really noobish question but is it possible to face your own teammate at ranked match? just curious xQUEENOFLOVEHDx posted... some gameplay footage :3 great match TC your Jaycee is great. it is the 1st vid that i saw so maybe some suggestions you could add war drums (4~2,1), FC+4,3 (sometimes just the 1st hit as a low poke) and just stand alone shotgun (d,df+1,2) to your arsenal. i delay the 2nd hit of shotgun sometimes esp when opponent is cornered on the wall as it wallsplats. or also iWR+2+4 throw for me it is a really hard to see as jaycee's hands look diff. from everyone's throw animation. i also use SS+2,1 sometimes on opponents caught off guard when im sidestepping. when in defense mode try not to hold back too much, it feels like it is just walking back and not blocking. this happened often to me before, i thought i was blocking by pressing back too much but i get hit. the animation of your character is walking back, not neutral and blocking which leaves you open for long range moves (ex Kazuya's f+3) also from uf+4,3 hopkick you could try 4; d,df+1~3,1;f+2.2.2 (bound) as your filler those are just suggestions i play jaycee sometimes or see them from vids. nice gameplay btw --- PSN: Spectre0415 currently playing: tekken tag tournament 2, borderlands 2, nba 2k13, resident evil 6, skyrim | |
Yes, you can face your own teammate in Ranked! it happens sometimes at the highest ranks where there's a smaller pool of players DeathScythe_527 posted... Thanks, I don't really have a secondary so I tend to let Julia do all of the work. I don't know who to pair her with yet. Thanks for the tips, those are some very important moves I forgot about! my bnb from uf+4,3 hopkick is d,df+1~4,1; d,df+1~3,1; d,df+1~4,2 (bound) into whatever. If there is a short space to the wall, I use the f222 bound or b+1 bound when necessary. For example if you're doing wind rolls and suddenly there's a wall, just do b+1 bound.
