Fengs "spreading wings" move

When's the best time to use this move? as a feng player from tekken six, i have been struggling to find good use for this move!! is it just a "move" move? A launcher or combo starter? what is it

Feng is one of my characters, so I might be able to help if you told me the notation, since I don't know many moves by their actual names anymore.

cant look it up now, but the move where he kicks one leg up high, then the other the same way as he jumps. I think it's like FF+3+4

I think you're talking about F,F,4,3. You can punish with it, but your opponent has to be really stupid because the first kick comes out slower than a baby at birth. It's better to use B+3+4,3 instead because it's more reliable due to B+3+4 can make some moves whiff and the 3 will pop your opponent in the air.

I actually use this move a lot in a few cases. I like it after a bound and you can connect back 1+2 after it in a combo. Just f,f4 can launch to start a juggle on its own and you can delay the 3 a lot to mess with people who try to punish it on block too early and counter hit them and juggle them.

You can get a full combo from f,f4 delayed 3 as well.

The move is used for his highest damaging solo combo (95 dmg). Doesn't have much use otherwise.
