One of the best additions to Alan Wake's gameplay in the DLC was the addition of using the environment to your advantage to defeat your enemies. For instance blowing open furnaces to expose enemies to flames and removing pieces of land to expose enemies to light (by shining your flashlight on words).

So I'm just wondering if that kind of environmental gameplay makes a comeback in some shape or form (not necessarily by shining your light at words to make those words come true).

I'll take Call of C'thulhu, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, Deadly Premonition or Nier over the average game any day. I like hybrid games, what can I say?
