So I understand that in order for the evolution's of your warriors pokemon to carry over into post game you have to register them in your gallery by using them at least once in battle. But what if the pokemon that has just evolved is already registered in the gallery (because I had already evolved another of that species from a different warrior), in this case would I still need to enter at least one battle with this evolved form even though it's already in my gallery, to register it with this different warrior? Or is it automatically registered with this warrior since it's already in the gallery?

You don't need to register the pokemon in the gallery for the warrior to keep it in their data the warrior does how ever need to be IN your army when you beat the story. If you got a warrior new pokemon then dismissed them, they lose those pokemon.
