Pokemon for Oichi entering postgame?

#1KyrosPosted 8/8/2012 9:23:58 AM
About to finish the game (any day, now), and--well, sort of a two parter.

1) Does what Oichi has even matter? I.e. Will I see her again before the hero's second story?

2) She's got a capacity of 4, and right now I'm choosing between her Wigglytuff (staying, for obvious reasons), Espeon, Ampharos, Zweilous, and Dragonair. Should I ditch the Dragonair and just use Hydreigon for her eventual dragon? Or keep both and toss one of the others? (Probably the Ampharos if it comes to that)

People like Zweilous and Hydreigon for her.

That said, i prefer DNite just for variety, and to completelt differentiate her from her brother.

Yes, it matters. In a few episodes you have access to Oichi very early, and her own episode being stuck with Wigglytuff is a bit of a liability.

I ended up raising a Garchomp, Dragonite, and Hydreigon on her at various times. Out of the three, Hydreigon was the most reliable and consistent in what I needed it to do; Garchomp and Dragonite both have Dragon Rush which occasionally misses, and Garchomp can't fly like Dragonite. Hydreigon has the flying and an attack that doesn't miss.

I would keep the Espeon no matter what, but with a beefly dragon handy there's hardly a reason to use it.

Giving Oichi a Hydreigon makes her a versatile character, especially when combined with her lifesaving ability to heal your team in a pinch.

Why do you have 2 Raichu on the same warrior?

Oops the first Raichu was meant to be Wigglytuff.
