Wasnt able to find a solid answer for this.

Critically wounded meaning they are disabled, and need to be stabilized or revived before they bleed out..

Or

Gravely Wounded, which is what you see after a mission vs just wounded, and happens when they took heavy damage.

Crit wounded, also any teammate that see someone die get a will decrease aswell

Isn't the seeing someone die decrease only temporary?

At least for when the person dying is MC'd it is, so I think it is otherwise as well (since it's supposedly a bug that the MC'd unit is considered a friend that has died before your eyes).

They only the permanent will decrease if they are downed/bleeding out and survive. The will deduction for seeing squadmates die only lasts the mission, and gravely wounded means nothing unless they were downed.
