I think if you go into customize there is an armor tint tab and you can color it up and pick between the 2 different when you are wearing basic anyway

Color changer isn't in all releases. There's a in-the-case DLC code for it. "Elite Soldier Pack" or something.

Yes. If you get a launch copy, it will have a DLC code that gives you more customization options. I believe there will be a sticker on the outside of the case if it's included.

I believe armor cannot be edited at all without this DLC.

Well, technically, it is 2K's way of thanking people who bought the game early. It provides no advantage in the game, so I think it's fair that they did that.

i think you can customize the armor color you just don't get the "classic" hair and some of the original color schemes, if you don't have the elite pack.

^ This.

Without the DLC (Elite Squad Soldier Pack), the Armor Deco and Armor Tint options will tnot even show up for you. When enabled, They are the bottom two options on the "Customize" screen for a soldier.

There's a completely Alternate armor skin per armor (so far w Basic, Cara, Skel) as well as 32 color sets. Plus the original hair.

Not smart for them to leave out one of the best aspects of the game.
