No-upgrade run, ver. Z2.2

#1JL LeePosted 4/5/2012 6:01:17 AM
Once again, same rules as before, just for the sake of individuals who might claim that I'm cheating or something like that.

- No robot, pilot or weapon upgrades of any sort, unless they come with it. In other words, not a single cent spent, nor a single PP used.
- Will still farm cash/PP/Kills through Intermission. Hey, I need them for a second run after all.
- Will be using a 10-run, All-scenario clear save to ease the Ace bonus headaches that come much later. Apologies for that. And apologies to the 2.5 million credits...
- Photos only, videos might come later, but it's recorded through phone since I'm using Vita (nor do I have a PSP-2000 and above) All will be sent to a central Dropbox folder which can be accessed by all, so apologies for the long titles
- Mostly a first run, unless otherwise stated (ie failed run, or change of tactics)
- Names of characters and robots may differ if I read them wrongly, apologies if I mis-spell or mis-name characters

Things to note:
- Final victory conditions are stated in BLUE this time, to make things easier for players
- Piece colours now has a "Zoom" option, where faction colours can be seen when zoomed out, but normal robot colours when zoomed in

Prologue: Black Rebellion
SR Point - None
Final victory condition - Defeat Cornilia

The final attack on Britannia's Japanese base, as per the final episode of Code:Geass!

Turn 1 - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/64692862/SRWZ2%20Saisei-Hen/Prologue%201.1.jpg

Used Concentrate for Toudoh, and sent him straight up. With seishin used for Zero, Kallen and Tamaki, I easily dispatched at least 2 enemies during the first turn. For the first time in a long while I had to remember about EN conservation for Kallen...

Countered everything as cheaply as possible. Suzaku came rushing for Zero of course, had to retaliate with a Hadron Cannon. Gilford went after Toudou, got beat pretty badly as well.

Turn 2 - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/64692862/SRWZ2%20Saisei-Hen/Prologue%201.2.jpg

Zero easily dispatched Suzaku with his post-movement Harken, shifted Kallen to the left to take out Gilford. Moved Tamaki in range to remove the last enemy on the upper left. Toudou stayed out of Cornilia's range (5).

Every other enemy got countered to bits during this phase. Orange and Cornilia went straight for Zero, so Hadron Cannons aplenty.

Turn 3 - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/64692862/SRWZ2%20Saisei-Hen/Prologue%201.3.jpg

Easy finish.

Rest of the story actually used voices and cuts from the episode. Awesomeness :)

JL Lee always has the bad habit of doing a no upgrade run and it's not really easy.Good luck on not getting yourself owned by the enemy.

How're you liking the upgraded colors via the Vita dude? I can see how some things like the text can appear blurry, but to me it's worth the trade off for the bright color palette!

Prologue: Order to Destroy the Gundams
SR Point - none
Final Victory condition - Defeat all enemies

Final episode of Gundam 00 first season, except we've already killed off every other enemy, so it's all GN-Xs, Sergei, Piries and Cola-man.

Turn 1 - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/64692862/SRWZ2%20Saisei-Hen/Prologue%202.1.jpg

Cluster****, 3 vs 18. Setsuna has no named enemies near him, so he can go wild. Vowels has Cola to deal with, while (H)Alle has to deal with Sergei and Piries. GN-Xes have an incredible range of 7 to deal with as well.

Alle -> http://dl.dropbox.com/u/64692862/SRWZ2%20Saisei-Hen/Prologue%202.2.jpg
Trans-AM to take out Sergei and his Command sphere. Try to keep Piries alive for now, you lose the Kyrios once she's taken out.

Tieria -> http://dl.dropbox.com/u/64692862/SRWZ2%20Saisei-Hen/Prologue%202.3.jpg
Nadleeh is a little thin, and similarly, Patrick will take it out if you defeat him early. Try not to do that.

Setsuna -> http://dl.dropbox.com/u/64692862/SRWZ2%20Saisei-Hen/Prologue%202.4.jpg
Almost everyone will ourtrange him if he sits in the middle. Try to be a little conservative of EN.

Turn 2 - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/64692862/SRWZ2%20Saisei-Hen/Prologue%202.5.jpg

Alle -> http://dl.dropbox.com/u/64692862/SRWZ2%20Saisei-Hen/Prologue%202.6.jpg
Moved out of Pirie's range, setting up to attack the 3 mooks coming up.

Tieria -> http://dl.dropbox.com/u/64692862/SRWZ2%20Saisei-Hen/Prologue%202.7.jpg
Not much space to shift, would be sniped by Patrick, but at least he would be able to clear the rest.

Setsuna -> http://dl.dropbox.com/u/64692862/SRWZ2%20Saisei-Hen/Prologue%202.8.jpg
Setting up for clearing out during enemy phase as well.

Turn 3 - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/64692862/SRWZ2%20Saisei-Hen/Prologue%202.9.jpg
Mooks ignored Alle ~_~

Retired Nadleeh; Setsuna took one out with Trans-AM (with just enough EN for one more, Alle Trans-AM'd the other, setting up for scenario-end during enemy phase.

Or at least, the first half ^^;
