Questions, now that it's out and some madman has probably beaten it already.

I've never watched Macross 7, but isn't he the main character? How does the main character of an action show go without fighting at all?

I mean, being a pacifist is okay and all. I mean, if anyone here has watched Avatar, the main character Aang was completely against killing anyone, even the most vile villain. But he did fight with non-lethal force in self-defense, or to protect others. But from what you're saying, Basara is against even that.

Short answer: this is Macross, where singing is the most powerful force in the universe.

That and there's Gamlin in charge of killing if needed.

Okay, that battleship I have to destroy with Zero... what does it look like? Just describe it, and I should be able to know it when I see it, but a picture is fine too.

Okay, so... I'm probably not going to be able to get it on my first playthrough.

...How many enemies per stage are we talking about on average?

Basara doesnt need to fight because he is such a good pilot that he can survive singing in the battlefield without getting hit

The show always shown how his skills are hax, which was a common occurence in Macross(the original Macross actualy has a character who has the same ability, but isnt a pacifist, and that guy is spoilerific in Macross 7)

To make a long story short most battle Basara just flies around singing one of the Fire Bomber songs and dodging everything fired at him. Him not participating in the action really didn't matter, as Macross 7's battles....well they were really that good to begin with. The fight choreography was kind of weak, and they used alot of stock footage. But that's ok because you don't really watch Macross 7 for the action, but for the Fire Bomber music.

In the few good combat scenes we had Gamlin as the ace pilot who actually shot back at people. But it didn't matter, because in the final battle weapons were useless and rock was the only way to win.

Alright, enough about Macross 7, let's get back on topic.

So, as I asked before, what does the battleship that I have to destroy with Zero look like?

Do I have to go on the Code Geass route on Stage 38 to save this Shirley person?

About how many enemies per stage are there this time around? According to Akurasu's flow chart, some SR points require you to defeat a ridiculously high number of enemies in a ridiculously small timeframe.

Speaking of SR points, do you need them for any of the secrets this time around?

And at the risk of derailing this topic again, I ask this: can you make Alto end up with Ranka in this game?

Like a pyramid.

No. She survives either way.

I guess, if that's the battleship I have to destroy using Zero on stage 17 to get a point for unlocking the last route split.

Just knowing its name doesn't help me though. I need to a picture or a more detailed description.

Ninja'd.

Okay, so it's basically a floating pyramid with a bunch of cannons attached. Okay, got it. I'll keep an eye out for it.
