Flamethrower doesn't make sense on Tauros.

Surf doesn't make sense on Rhydon.

Calm Mind doesn't make sense on Sudowoodo.

What was the point of this post? Of course a lot of moves don't make sense on most Pokemon.

Just because a move doesn't make sense on a pokemon doesn't mean that it can't (or shouldn't) learn it.

My point is that Ice Beam doesn't make sense on Chandelure,

Flamethrower doesn't make sense on Tauros.

Surf doesn't make sense on Rhydon.

Calm Mind doesn't make sense on Sudowoodo.

Sudowoodo spends a lot of time standing still, so calm mind makes some amount of sense. Tauros is a Normal-type, and Normal-types are prone to getting all sorts of weird elemental TMs. Can't speak for Surfing Rhydon, though.

Not that I disagree with Ice Beam Chandelure (or maybe Icy Wind Chandelure).

I see where you're coming from, but one can't just ignore the fact that there is a limit - whether you want to acknowledge it or not.

Fact: No Fire types except for a certain multityped legendary can learn Ice Beam. ITT: There is absolutely no reasoning or explanation behind this.

Galvantula should learn either Nasty Plot, Tail Glow, or Quiver Dance.

If any species of real world spider managed to master lepidopteran flight, I'd stock up on Raid and only leave the house if I was running low on supplies.

If it's Galvantula, though, it's cool.

The description says it just does a mystical dance, and nothing about flying. So for all we know, Galvantula's got the moves like Jagger.
