It's one of my favorites, but is outclassed by Lapras in almost every aspect. Better movepool, better stats, better at it in every way. What would Dewgong need in order to see some usage?

New abilitiy, new movepool, improved base stats,better typing...

Sorry I like Dewgong, but there is not much hope for it! :(

GameFreak needs to stop gearing Ice-types towards defense. Ice has three common weaknesses, and no resistances other than itself.

Hydration + Rest isn't bad. But BW gave a lot more Pokemon Hydration; before that it only Manaphy/Phione and Dewgong.
