Questions about Black City & White Forest (Spoilers?)

Okay, so we know that Black 2 starts with Black City and White 2 starts with White Forest.

We also know that once you complete Area 5 in either the Black Skyscraper or the White Tree Hollow, you receive that area's key, which you can send to someone with the opposite game using Unova Link to unlock that area.

The leader of the Black Skyscraper/White Tree Hollow is Banjirou, and once you defeat him, you get a Shiny Gible in the Black Skyscraper and a Shiny Dratini in the White Tree Hollow.

Once you defeat him, you can battle him again by going through Area 10 again, but when you play the other area, there will be a Veteran trainer at the end instead.

Now, I have two questions about this.

1. Say you have Black 2 and have not yet completed the Black Skyscraper. A friend sends you the key for White Forest. You use it to switch the area.

Since you haven't completed the Black Skyscraper yet, you have not obtained the key for it.

Does that mean you are not able to switch back to Black City unless someone else sends you the key? Or does it allow you to switch between them as soon as you get the other version's key?

2. Same situation. You haven't beaten the Skyscraper but have switched to White Forest.

If you play through the White Tree Hollow first, in Black 2, will you battle Banjirou at the end? Or are you stuck with the Black Skyscraper Banjirou as that was your initial area?

Obviously, both questions apply to the opposite situation: getting the key for Black City before beating the White Tree Hollow.

Also, does anyone know if any of this changes depending on whether you've A) reached Black City/White Forest yet, or B) Started the Skyscraper/Tree Hollow but not finished it?

It seems that players of Black2 who have the White Forest Key just need to turn it on or off based on which area they want. So switching between areas seems possible once you've got the other versions key.

Um, no. You need to go into the menu and choose which option you want. Hence there being a Normal Mode to choose rather than turning Assist or Challenge off.
