Pokemon Black Version 2

I've been thinking about it and it has been bothering me for a while, but why were the designs best in the first gen? They only got worse after that. For example, look at this guy.

Nidoking practically oozes badass from every inch of his body. When the best villain in the series (because they all kind of got worse after that) pulled out this bad boy, I knew pokemon was gonna be some serious stuff. First gen had a ton of badass designs and nidoking stands at the top of them. But what did we get in the future generations? Ho-oh? Aggron who is a poor man's nidoking ripoff? Torterra? The pokemon all look like digimon now. And if they aren't digimon, then they're just bland and badly designed.

But back to nidoking. This guy is amazing. Every moment he has had in the anime shows off how much of an original badass he is. When Gary mother******* Oak pulled one out against Giovanni, he beat the crap out of his pokemon. Giovanni had to resort to Mewtwo just to stand a chance. Mewtwo! Evil villains don't resort to such things unless you drive them into a corner. How many other pokemon have forced somebody to pull out a legendary?

Even in game, he's beast. He learns everything. Stealth rock, toxic spikes, ice beam, fire blast, earth power...I could go on but you get the idea. Defeating ubers is no problem for Nidoking. Rayquaza? That pokemon who got defeated by a bunch of blocks in the deoxys movie? Ice beam for the ohko. Hopefully gamefreak can give us another pokemon like Nidoking in Gen 6 because this new crap so far just doesn't cut it.

tl; dr: Nidoking > your favorite pokemon.

Ok, please stop with the Nidoking fetish, and i don't see the problem with Aggron and Torterra? And btw, Ho-oH was originally gen 1 if you'd made some research. I will agree with you though on the fact that designs have been pretty sloppy this gen, but i've been pleased with everything from gen 1 to 4 (even Bidoof/Bibarel).

Nidoking is leagues and bounds better than Reshiram.

And for the record, I know first gen had a few bad designs. Crap like dewgong and dragonite exists. It's just that Nidoking and a few others blow everything else out of the water. Everything that came afterward either tries too hard to be badass or is just...lame.
