Pokemon Black Version 2

Samurott comes earlier, is better in its pre-evolved form, and has more physical attack and speed. It also has a wider movepool.

Vaporeon has 2 more points in Special Attack, which isn't significant. It is more bulky, but Samurott has decent bulk as well.

Why do people think Vaporeon is superior?

are you really asking this question?

vaporeon, first off has water absorb. this is pretty self explanitory in a metagame where politoed + hydro pump is people's first move.

secondly, hydration.

what pokemon can rest, heal, and wake up the next turn? ..vaporeon.

samerott is a horrible pokemon both in game and competitively, that's why it's in the UU tier and vaporeon isn't.

what vaporeon lacks in attacking power it more than makes up for by being a strong defensive background.

vaporeon actually beats sameruott 1v1 no matter what set it runs it just can't push through. hidden power grass or electric being it's only viable option, gets turned down by any standard CM set.

I'm not talking about the metagame (Note the word ingame in the title).

Vaporeon is defensive, but Samurott isn't exactly frail. Samurott is also a better attacker.

1v1 is irrelevant to ingame prowess. Hydreigon beats Darmanitan 1v1, but it's not better for ingame.
