Which doesn't even address the regulations that have been discuss in the topic. Weather it is illegal or not, there are rules in place to disipline employees breaking rules like this. I'm not doing it and I don't want anyone else to do it if they care about keeping thier job.

See my post above. If it goes through the register like a regular product, and there is no "DO NOT SELL" or "SELL NOT ALLOWED" message, then there is absolutely no reason for an associate to get in trouble.

HOWEVER, if an associate GOT those error messages, then decided to fudge it into the system like 123456789 then press enter, then there are grounds for getting a warning, but most certainly not a firing (unless they were on their last strike).

All the time I've worked selling games that only thing I have seen people get in trouble for is not IDing people who buy M rated titles. Now THAT they care about.

Who's REALLY gonna discipline Walmart?

Nobody has the balls to do it.

Breaking street date on games will get you fired from GameStop. Wal-Mart? You'll get a warning and that's if you bypass the blatant "DO NOT SELL/BREAK STREET DATE" messages.

I'm going to my Wal-Mart tomorrow for some stuff. I'll ask someone if they have the game while I'm there. If I get it, lucky me. If I don't, oh well. Nobody will get fired over anything.

I don't really care about this legal business. I'm sure others agree that in topics like these, they want to see people posting and confirming that they did get their copy from walmart, etc, etc and not people arguing against one another instead.

No, it's mostly about people thinking that it's illegal.
