Their commercials blatantly pick on Gamestop. I don't like it. Owning something is BY FAR better than Renting/Borrowing something.


That's because most of the time,Gamestop sucks. I dont blame them for picking on them if you can even consider that being picked on.

I'm sorry, but I find that commercial hilarious. The part with the customer tearing up the store always gets a big laugh from me. Maybe its cause I'm a jackass, lol.


Of course, I know the truth as I used to frequent a Gamestop before I moved. I just wish this town had one.

Don't use it, doubt I ever will. I strongly prefer owning my games, particularly games with an incredible amount of replay value like Pokemon.

On the topic:

I've thought about it before, but decided it isn't worth it. Like others have said I prefer to own games instead of renting(I use LPs to find out if I'd want games). Especially since I'm the type to play partway through a game, stop, then play other games for a couple months before wanting to go back to it again.

Never heard of it, is it a service exclusive to America?

Not sure why anyone would rent hand-held games (bar PSP games) though. Console games I can understand renting.

Particularly the Pokemon games, including Pokemon Ranger. The only reason for someone not fond of the Ranger series to get any of the games in that side series is the transferable Pokemon, and given they can only be transferred once, only the first renter of any copy could get them (though now basically only the Manaphy from the first game can be retrieved, as that was unlocked by password not Wi-Fi).
