I have two ds's but when i trade for an example black to black 2, it's trade right not just sending (transfer) them over.

Might be a stupid question, but this will be the first time i ever do it.

Yes, you can trade between Black and Black 2. Gen 5 games can all trade with each other.

Gen 4 games can only transfer to gen 5 games, however. Same with gen 3 to gen 4.

this is just my first time doing that, i was just curious if you can send them over without trading them, but tradings good though. cool can't wait.
