Do you consider Black 2 the "red" one or the "blue" one?

Going by order is just making stuff up though. That's like saying a game in your favorite series didn't exist just because you don't like it.

I consider the one that people like more the "red" version.
Here's my list of "reds"
Red version
Silver version
Ruby version
Diamond version
Black version
Black2 version

"Blues" of course, are the others.

Change silver to gold and you got the correct list.

This.

The whole idea of calling any of these games "Red" or "Blue" is total BS completely created by fans anyway, so what difference does it make? It's purely a personal distinction that means nothing to anyone that matters.

Uhh... What? That analogy makes no sense. Gamefreak releases the game information in a specific order every time. That order is made by them. http://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-video-games/pokemon-black-version-2-and-pokemon-white-version-2/

^ See? I don't understand how that is like trying to ignore the existence of a bad game in a series.

Using color is a complete fabrication based off nothing supplied by Gamefreak. As I said before, it was Red & Green in Japan. Why would they created they box art based off the English initial two Pokemon releases?

Once again, this is a fanmade comparison. You are entitled to make up any way of sorting them you want. It's just that certain methods of sorting have more supporting them than others. I'm simply trying to say that basing it off color really doesn't make much sense as Gamefreak would not intentionally design the covers based off the US releases.

You could say that the white2 version is red because there is a piece of version specific dialogue that contains the word "fire", firered was a rerelease of red, so therefor white2 is red. You could say whatever you want really.

The majority disagree though. It may be frustrating but that's how life works sometimes.

I know it doesn't really mean anything, and is rather silly to argue about. I guess the logical fallacy of calling something red when it's blue in color just irritates me to no end. It's like calling a chipmunk a squirrel, calling a salamander a lizard, or calling a t-shirt a sweater.

Anyways, we've both acknowledged that it's a fanmade thing, so I think we can agree to disagree on how we create the order.

I do not wish to argue about this any longer as it's pretty silly.

Lol, I'm not disagreeing on the order though. I'm going to finish Master Quest now.

I think the problem is that you're taking the idea of calling them "Red" and "Blue" way too literally. Nobody would bother to distinguish them in such a way if they were literally talking about color. People make the distinction because they have a personal attachment to the original games, and it wasn't the color of the cartridge that distinguished each version as a unique entity.

Simple.
Red and Blue.
Gold and Silver.
Ruby and Sapphire.
Diamond and Pearl.
Black and White.
Black 2 and White 2.

Black 2 is Red.
