Breeding glitch?

#1Aladdin2557Posted 10/20/2012 3:33:56 AM
Hi, I just wanted a second opinion on whether I'm doing something wrong.

I'm breeding my own Rhyhorn, holding a Power Bracer (Max IV Attack) with a Ditto I just transferred from Emerald via SoulSilver.

The Ditto is Adamant and is holding an Everstone, but so far I've only had 1 out of about 15 of the eggs turn out Adamant.

Am I missing something? This is on Black 1 btw.

Bad luck. Really bad luck.

I've had it happen to myself numerous times.

If you were on B2, the game this board is for, the Everstone would make the nature pass down 100%.

This is normal. Not a glitch.

It is only Black 2 and White 2 that have the guaranteed nature pass down with an Everstone.
In Black (1) and White (1), it is only a 50% chance.

Sorry, I know but one of my girlfriends is borrowing my Black 2 and the other has got my DS :/

Sure, but 1 in 15 is not 50% though. It's closer to 7%....

Anyway, I took both of them out and put them back in at the same time, and it's working now :D so I think it was a glitch. Thanks anyway

Odds don't work like that.

the odds are calculated each time you get an egg.

if you have 100 eggs it doent mean 50 will be the correct nature and the other 50 will be others it means 100 could be the correct nature 100 could be the wrong one or anything in between
