Nah, gen 2 is still the black sheep for anyone who has greater design sense than that of a 2 year old.

Other than that, gen 4 is the whipping boy at the moment, but it's (mostly) undeserved.

What was wrong with Gen 3? Was it just the least played? That's kind of expected since it came out after the nostalgia wore off, but before online came into play.
