I know Japan and German pokemon count but what about Brazil? Mexico? or just areas that use English names?

There are 7 game languages: Japanese, English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, and Korean. The two parents in the daycare must have a different language. As for finding out what game language is available in what country... I don't know that.

Ah okay. So for poekmon with English names in those other language names, i should check the pokedex for a different entry right?

Yup. If there is another language entry, then you're good to go.

Note that only Pokemon from the first four gens will have foreign Dex entries, though.

Oh okay thanks. I did get an Italian Ditto now. I think that's all one needs just a Ditto.
